Original artwork description

:  I painted this from drawings I made at a local lake in East Sussex UK. It was earlier in the spring and the whole lake had a blue/green hue that I really enjoyed. I have used oil paints, some very thinly applied in the foreground to depict water. The drips I have left in as they describe wateriness and I have drawn structure into the trees using oil sticks. The painting has a shadow gap between canvas and frame to enhance the work.
