SOCIAL AND POLITICAL CONCERNS IN PAKISTAN AND INDIA
SOCIAL AND POLITICAL CONCERNS IN PAKISTAN AND INDIA CRITICAL CONVERSATIONS FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS By (author)ANJUM ALTAF Aside from a shared history and culture, there are many contemporary political and social issues that are common to Pakistan and India the answers to which shall have an indelible impact on the future of the subcontinent. In such a landscape, it is a matter of concern that there is so little exchange of opinion on these issues leading to a widening gulf of misperceptions and misunderstandings. The essays compiled in the book aim to bridge that gap and, at the same time, provide an opportunity for critical reflection on shared aspects of our past, present and future.
